Edmonton is hosting the annual United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters National Apprenticeship Competition June 10 – 15, 2018. The UA National Apprenticeship Competition started in 1972 and allows Canadian apprentices from five different pipe trades to compete and to be recognized as the UA Canadian Apprenticeship champion. The competition will showcase apprentices in the trades of welder, steamfitter/pipefitter, plumber, HVACR and sprinkler systems installer.
